CEC does not give money for Sannikov’s campaign materials

Right in the first days of the agitation campaign the Central Election Commission makes difficulties to oppositional candidates.

"A strange situation has shaped itself during signing a trilateral agreement between the CEC, the presidential candidate Andrei Sannikov and the publishing house. Throughout this day representatives of the publishing house had to visit the CEC several times, and each time new demands to the agreement were put forward.

Only after 5 p.m. we received the certificate of the financial representative of Sannikov, that is, at the moment when banks are getting closed. And they will open only on Monday," said the electioneering agent of Andrei Sannikov, Uladzimir Kobets.

As said by him, under such conditions the "cosmetic" nature of the so-called "liberalization" of the election process. "A lot is said about democratization of this process, but the conditions in which we have to work, in fact show the opposite. Publishing of our agitation materials is delayed, and in fact a few days are lost. Liberalization is out of the question," Uladzimir Kobets says.
