After his visit to Hrodna region in the end of the last week Lukashenka went to Lake Narach, which really complicated matters for common Belarusians on holiday there.
Last Thursday interior troops units were send to Myadzel district from Minsk. Soldiers in trucks and with mobile kitchen trailers made a camp in forest along the highway R28 from Myadzel to the resort town of Narach. Part of them was stationed in the yards of the village of Charauki. They looked from behind the fences at the passing vehicles. People decided some military exercises were underway. But on Saturday three or four full buses of the security service of the president arrived, "Belarusian partisan" website informs.
Several hundreds of people occupied the resort town of Narach completely, which shocked the dwellers and holiday-makers. "they disguised themselves as tourists walking along the main street, they were sitting on bicycles in the shade of trees, reading newspapers, waiting near a shop, a café, in inner yards of the settlement and even near a kindergarten," told a local dweller.
Some of the people in plainclothes were placed to a health resorts, including "Sputnik" health resort, which was visited by Lukashenka. Not all visitors looked like special forces soldiers. There were women among them, as well as men who had lost their shape long ago.
Lukashenka and his son Kolya arrived in a helicopter. They stayed in a former yacht club. Nobody was allowed there naturally. "On Saturday evening I was in the local market place near "Narach" shop and heard dialogues of vendors and holiday-makers. People were furious. They recalled the number of security service personnel in the times of Kebich (three persons), and their beggary life, and idle big ugly brutes who are paid "3 millions", told an angry local dweller.
And meanwhile, there were at least 50 traffic policemen standing along the main road. People were fuming that the road was blocked, and beachgoers were not even allowed to go to Lake Belae, which is situated 20 kilometres from the place where the ruler was. All the cafes were closed for special services on July 30 and 31, though there was no one in, and nobody was eating anything, as "Belarusian partisan" was told by eye-witnesses. They added up that the visit of Lukashenka to Narach was supported by 400 persons.
