23 ice palaces have already been built in the country, even in sparsely populated towns.
51 ice palaces will work in Belarus in the near future. It has been stated at the presentation of the first professional female hockey team, Panthers, by chairman of the Belarusian Hockey Federation Yauheny Vorsin, the European Radio for Belarus reports.
"Not only child sports schools are to work at these arenas, but female ice hockey sections. We say that to heads of our regional organizations in which child sports schools are opened," Vorsin said.
