A criminal action has been opened against traffic police inspector of the Interior Directorate of the Internal Affairs of Brest regional executive committee. He was driving a car while he was drunk, and a 17-year-old boy was run down by him, "Ezhednevnik" reports.
The drunken-driving accident took place on June 27 in the night. The traffic police inspector, senior lieutenant Fiodar Aniskevich, was driving Audi which was a property of his girlfriend. The traffic policeman, who was to monitor drivers, for them not to violate traffic regulations and not to drive in the state of alcohol intoxication, was drunk behind the wheel himself. His blood alcohol level was 1.1 per mille. However, not only this fact demonstrates the morals of this traffic policeman.
Not far from the village of Shchehliki, Zhabinka district, he ran down a 17-year-old guy on a bicycle. The boy was not violating any rules, and besides, there were reflectors on him. But he was not saved by that. About 15 minutes before midnight the drunken traffic policeman crushed him and left dying, trying to flee the scene. The violator was found soon and detained, and the young man taken to hospital, where he died from a traumatic brain injury in the morning.
