"The trend is obvious to everyone already: no matter what the date of elections would be, no matter what the results of the elections would be, Lukashenka is to leave," believes lieutenant colonel of KGB in reserve Valery Kostka.
- The situation is as following: Lukashenka is losing the firm ground of presidency. He stayed too long after his term, he had not been able to see the writing on the wall and had not quitted on time; but he is quitting, Lukashenka is simply quitting.
The time of Lukashenka is over, but he does not want to step down. And there are attempts to finish him off, by ideological and psychological methods. The tendency is clear to everyone already: no matter what the date of elections would be, no matter what the results of the elections would be, Lukashenka is to leave. There is no need to look for the persons responsible for of this resignation. When objective laws start to operate, nothing could be done about that," Valery Kostka said in an interview to "Belarusian partisan".
- For how long this period of his stepping down could last?
- Before May of the next year at maximum the problem of Belarus would be resolved. All Russian TV channels, all informational space would attack Lukashenka. The outcome is clear.
