The statement of some "anarchists" about RF Embassy arson in Minsk is publicly disproved.
The statement of some "anarchist group" stating that it was they, who had thrown "Molotov cocktails" near the Embassy in Minsk, appeared in Internet today. The text, "Interfax" reports, was placed at the web site: belarus.indymedia.org.
The authors state that they acted in sympathy with Khimki Forest protectors in Russia. "By this action we express our anger and protest against arrests of social activists who stood up for Khimki Forest", - they write.
This information was picked up in GUVD of Minsk who stated, that the version about anarchists' involvement in that incident will be checked. The police state that Belarus numbers "several tens" of anarchists, who are not united into any organization with a distinct structure.
Later on, the statement was deleted from the site belarus.indymedia.org. The following official statement is placed at the site now:
"The Campaign for the Release of the Khimki Hostages does not possess information, whether this action is a provocateurs' act or the act of really not indifferent people. But we are sure, that such actions cannot help either one's prisoned comrades, or the campaign in general".
