Gazprom set to increase gas prices in 2011


The Russian company states that it transits to market prices for countries of the former Soviet Union.

Gazprom expects improvement of results in deliveries of gas to the countries of the former Soviet Union in 2011 in connection with full transition to market principle of deliveries.

It had been stated on Thursday during a phone conference of the company on the results of the international accounting for the Q1 2010, PRIME-TASS news office in Belarus reports.

This year Gazprom delivers to Belarus, Moldova and Armenia gas at the price with 10% discount. At the same time, as it has been noted during the phone conference, gas deliveries in 7 months of 2010 to the countries of the former Soviet Union have grown by 40%.
