Around Europe with stretched hand

The Belarusian delegation including leaders of the financial and economic blocs of the government has gone on a one-week tour to Western Europe.

Among the travelers there are First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank board Yury Alymau, Finance Minister Andrei Kharkavets, and Economy Minister Mikalai Snapkou. They are to visit London, Frankfurt am Main, Munich, Zurich and Geneva.

The officials are to hold meetings with potential investors, "Nasha Niva" informs.

We remind that on July 9 at the meeting with Stefan Fuele, Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy, Alyaksandr Lukashenka stated: "We won't fall, we won't crawl to you or Russia or the US".

"Let us agree that the main thing is our sovereignty, security and independence of our country," the leader interlined. "We will do anything for the sake of this independence. We won't run around Europe, America or Russia and take money from you," Lukashenka said.
