Aleksandrs Golubovs, a member of the Latvian Parliament (Harmony Center), died in Minsk Hotel in early hours of May 19.
The body was found in the morning May 19, BelaPAN learnt from the Embassy of Latvia in Belarus.
Golubovs arrived in Minsk on May 16 with a delegation of the Saeima's Foreign Affairs Committee. The delegation ended the visit on May 19. The dead body was found by the delegation members, MP Artis Pabriks said.
As BelaPAN informs, the Embassy is to receive forensic examination results in the evening. However, the radio MixFM has already reported he died of natural causes.
Aleksandrs Golobovs was born on April 3, 1959, received medical education in Riga Medical University. He was married, had two sons. He was a member of the Saeima since restoration of Latvia's independence. He headed a group for cooperation with the Belarusian parliament for 15 years.
